While this has been a challenging time for our City, the Nation and the World, I hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy, and trying to remain positive. Orlando artists are resilient, and this is a time when we need creative people for hope and healing. The Downtown Arts District has been working to provide digital content on social media, keep creating while at home program and last week's virtual art reception on Facebook Live. Thanks to our staff member Ha'Ani Hogan and our branding agency Remixed, we now have a shopping cart for art purchases and virtual gallery tours. You can navigate through the galleries from the hamburger in the right corner of the site - https://downtownartsdistrict.com/side-gallery/.
The Downtown Arts District and CityArts Orlando is in its last three days of the United Arts Collaborative Campaign with approximately $5,000 to go. In light of COVID-19, United Arts is waiving its administration fee and providing a full 15% match for all donations to the Downtown Arts District/CityArts Orlando. If we exceed the match, we will get 30% of the additional amount.
Your support means the world to me and our staff in order to continue arts and cultural mission based programming that will evolve as we discover the new normal. Please help to keep Orlando creating with a $5 or $10 donation today!
