My fellow arts and cultural community,

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with good food, good company, and good cheer.  At the Downtown Arts District, we have much for which we are thankful, and that includes all of the generous members of our community who make our organization a distinctive place people come to celebrate a common passion for arts and culture.

The Downtown Arts District is what it is because of you! Each year you demonstrate what it is to be a strong cultural community through program participation, advocacy, and financial contributions. I am so proud of our community and I am humbled by how often you express your pride through your open hearts and generous spirits.

It’s in this spirit of heartfelt generosity that I have chosen to make a personal pledge this holiday season to support arts and culture. Join me in giving back to the Downtown Arts District or your favorite arts organization on Giving Tuesday (November 28^th).  Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration where we take a moment after the Thanksgiving holiday to “give thanks by giving back”.
