An Evening at SAK Comedy Lab at CityArts Factory, Downtown Orlando

By: Rob Reilly 08/29/2010

My wife and I entered the tiny box office area through an ordinary-looking door on the northeast corner of the intersection of Pine Street and Orange Avenue. The lady behind the ticket-counter checked my reservation and happily directed us up the…

Why Do I Perfer Ponds To Lakes

Why do think I perfer a pond to a lake? Is it the sound the word Pond makes as I utter it? Perhaps it is the onomatopoeia of the word itself. To say the word "POND" I see shallow waters and cattails. I see weeping willows or butterflies; I see ripples crashing against lilly pads. The sound of the word creates images that look as peacful as the air feels exhaling my lungs. The Truth about Being Native American

No no no I do not get money for being native american. There is no pot of gold out there for being a red skin. Everytime someone asks me about all the cash I must be getting for my race I want to punch them in the face. Another thing why are so many sports teams named after native americans? Raiders, redskins, what the $%#@&*! Could you imagine a team called the Atlanta asians or the Chicago caucasions!? Seriously I'm not about political correctness but we get no damn respect in this… Continue
