Event Description

The Odyssey

Brought to you by:

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF

Thurs.- 7:00pm; Fri. - Sat., 8:00pm; Sun.- 2:00pm

Acclaimed solo artist Charlie Bethel (Beowulf) re-imagines Homer's famous myth in a faithful yet utterly accessible format for those who slept through Greek Lit. Voyage across land and sea, through the underworld, to the top of Mt. Olympus with the brave and courageous hero, Odysseus, as he valiantly seeks his homeland and the arms of his wife and child. You're sure to recognize yourself in this sometimes comic, often harrowing, but always thrilling, epic adventure.
