Event Description
Elizabeth Allen-Cannon is an artist who works primarily in painting and collage. She has participated in residencies at the Charlotte Street Foundation and Ox-bow. Her work has been exhibited in New American Paintings, Nationale, Roots and Culture Contemporary Art Center, and Carthage College. In 2015, her artist book Native Tongues was acquired by the Artist Book Library at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Most recently, she completed a Post-MFA Teaching Fellowship at the University of Chicago.
