Looking for a way to exercise, de-stress, AND spend time with your furriest friend? Try Sit, Stretch, and Stay, a yoga-based program in which you will share the joyful acceptance of the present moment with your dog and, as a result, experience a new level of bonding.
In Sit, Stretch, and Stay, you will learn breathing techniques to combat stress, stretches to incorporate into your daily routine to enhance your physical health, and tips on how to give your dog the benefits of what you're doing.
Each class begins with a segment to center you and your dog and set the tone for your practice, followed by a breathing technique to calm your mind. Next, you will learn some simple massage strokes for your dog to increase bonding and relaxation. Then, you and your dog will co-create a series of stretches that will leave you feeling refreshed, de-stressed, and supple in your spine, hips, and musclesNo training is necessary, this class has seen a huge improvement from start to finish. Breathing and stretching poses are modified to address all levels of physical health and flexibility.
Through Sit, Stretch, and Stay, you and your dog will emBARK upon a happy, healthy, and balanced relationship and you will learn that we have much to learn from our pets about the joy of living in the present moment. Please bring a blanket or mat. All dogs must be on leash. All humans with friendly doggies are welcome! No experience is necessary! This is a learning class for both you and your canine buddy!
