The Freethought Film Festival Foundation (FFFF) presents the feature film, That's Not Funny, a dead serious documentary about comedy*. Director, Mike Celestino asks, "How are boundaries defined in comedy? Is there a line, and if so, when is it okay to cross it? Is it in our nature to make fun of things that make us uncomfortable, topics that might otherwise be considered dire or taboo?" The film examines these questions, events and more via historical analysis, archival footage and filmmaker commentary.
Tentative filmmaker Q&A to follow the screening.
Advance reservations for this screening for guests age 21+ includes a pre-screening happy hour from 6-8 pm at The Woods (49 N.
