Exhibit Dates: October 17, 2019 to November 14, 2019
Artist Opening Reception and Block Party: 3rd Thursday October 17, 2019, 7-11pm

Subject Matter: CityArts is accepting all NEW art in either the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) or Monster Party (Halloween) theme. All art pieces must be for sale. All art must clearly fit the theme of the show. Art that does not clearly fit the theme without artist explanation will not be accepted. All art must be ready to hang. Ex: Include wires, hooks, or D-rings attached to the back of each piece. 

Cost: $10 non-refundable submission fee per piece. There are no restrictions for maximum number of pieces submitted by artists. If you would like to submit 8 pieces and they are all accepted by the jury, then you will be asked to pay $80.

Your listing price should include a 30% markup to accommodate the commission for CityArts.

CityArts está aceptando toda arte NUEVA con el tema de Día de los Muertos o Monster Party (Halloween). Todas las piezas de arte deben estar a la venta. Los precios deben reflejar una comisión del 30%.

Fechas de exposición: 17 de octubre hasta el 14 de noviembre de 2019

Se aceptan todos los medios de arte visual. Sin restricciones de tamaño. Se aceptará arte reactivo a la luz negra. Arte de “drip” o “swirl” no será aceptado.

Envíos online: Puede enviar sus piezas terminadas para el proceso de jurado en línea hasta el viernes 11 de octubre de 2019 a las 6:00 p.m. Se le notificará la aceptación por correo electrónico y se enviará un enlace para el pago junto con la aceptación por correo electrónico. Las fechas de entrega de arte son del 12 al 14 de octubre.
