Call for Artists Exhibition Title: My Orlando: An artist perspective “Sketches, Paintings, and Photographs” Dates: Dates of Exhibit: 8/16/18 - 9/14/18 Artist Opening Reception: Third Thursday August 16, 2018 6-9pm Subject matter: Sketchers, painters, and photographers are invited to attend our third Thursday art opening and stroll, and create pieces depicting of Orlando, venues, nightlife, and people during the art stroll. These pieces can then be submitted to our August Third Thursday exhibition. We will select a group of works to hang from August 16, 2018 – September 14, 2018. Of the pieces selected we will offer cash prizes of the top three winners. There will be a $250 prize for First Place and $100 each for 2nd place, and people’s choice. Mediums accepted are sketches, paintings, and photography. Please keep in mind this is a juried show all submissions must be made via email to kquast@dadorlando.com , prior to August 1, 2018. Once selected you will either receive a confirmation email or phone call. Art Drop Off: Saturday, 8/11/18 and Monday, 8/14/18 and Tuesday Art Pick Up: Saturday, 9/15/18 and Monday, 9/17/18, from 11:00am - 6:00pm Commission: 30%
