Artist Call for the People's Climate March.

It is time to connect your artistic practice to social activism!

Looking for artist to help us from now until 4/29 to create beatiful art pieces for the People's Climate March.

• If the threaths to Defund the Art comunity gets to you...
• If any other threaths get to you like: not having the right to safe abortions, or the threat to remove healtcare from our most needy in society, etc...
• Or if you just feel like helping the community create beautiful art!

Then this call is for you :)

I work for a grassroots organization called Organize Florida, we are planning the People's Climate march that will take place April 29 and we need help creating art for the march.

We have four beautiful projects that you can help us with.

Group one: Mother Earth – Paper Mache, maybe divided in four pieces that come together at the march – Deadline 4/27

Group two: Guerrilla Art – guerrilla art to be placed all throughout Orlando, Apopka, Kissimmee etc. Art will point areas where there is a “pipeline going thourgh a poor neighborhood” – This art will be placed though out the city one week before the march – Deadline 4/21

Group three : Parachute – “Circle of Resistance” -  this is the National Art piece symbol being created by all groups participating on the people’s climate march– Deadline 4/27

Group four: Four Corners – we will create art that represent our issues and groups being affected by new administration (labor, women’s, immigration, science, etc.), this art will be designed, cut and ready on cardboard for people from the comunity to paint during the Art Days - Art days are  April 1^st and April 15^th. – Deadline 3/30 for first art build  – next deadline 4/14 for second art  – last deadline 4/24 for the last art build
