LOVE N' DANCING opens May 29th in downtown Orlando!

Come check out my new movie, LOVE N' DANCING (the first ever West Coast Swing dance movie) which opens May 29th at the brand new and very swanky PLAZA CINEMA café in downtown Orlando! I am a local Film & tv producer who lives in DeLand and I am thrilled that my new movie is making it's Florida premiere as part of the benefit and opening weekend for Plaza Cinema Café. We all need to come out and support this brand new and very exciting new theater.

I will be attending the big benefit kicking off this brand new theater on Thursday, the 28th (not too late to get tickets!) and the movie will be one of several film selections that guests can attend. The film then opens to the general public starting on the 29th. West Coast Swing and Lindy dancers will be performing on both the 28th and before the 7:05 PM screening on the 29th.

Did you know that the LOVE N’ DANCING star Amy Smart had aspirations of being a ballerina when she was a kid and studied ballet for many years? That training definitely came in handy ... She studied with choreographer and West Coast Swing legend Robert Royston for 8 weeks along with co-star Tom Malloy to learn her dance numbers.

Did you know that fellow co-star Billy Zane happens to be a great dancer and has always wanted to be in a dance movie? He was thrilled to finally get the chance but as it turns out his character is one of the few in the film that doesn’t dance. However he does have an hysterical dance number in the film which he choreographed all by himself.

If you have any questions or want to hear more behind the scenes stories come to the 7:05 showing this Friday the 29th and afterwards I will be doing a Q&A! Hope to see you at the movies!
