Call to Artists: 11th Annual Día de los Muertos & Monster Exhibitions

Día de los Muertos Theme Subject Matter: Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themes. Examples include, but are not limited to Sugar Skulls, ofrendas, marigolds, traditional Mexican storylines, etc.

Monster/Halloween Theme Subject Matter: Examples of monsters include, but art not limited to Frankenstein, Dracula, mummies, zombies, werewolves, dragons, horror movie characters, villains, etc.


Online Submissions Due by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020. 

Once accepted, artists will drop off their art at CityArts on October 10-12.

Walk-In Submissions will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. The art must directly fit with the two themes. 

Cost: $10 non-refundable submission fee per piece. There are no restrictions for the maximum number of pieces submitted by artists. If you would like to submit 8 pieces and they are all accepted by the jury, then you will be asked to pay $80.

Your listing price should include a 30% markup to accommodate the commission for CityArts.
