April Fool's Day Blog -- 7 PM Deadline Today to Post a Comment to Win!
I'm pleased to announce that as of 11:59 p.m. on April 1st, Orlando SLICE will change its name to Banana SLICE, because we felt it had a certain “appeal” to our local members. Ha ha..; just “fooling” around! I hope you had a wonderful April Fool’s Day today and hopefully got to enjoy some of this gorgeous weather.
Now, all joking aside, April 1st is officially Orlando SLICE’s Birthday!
Did you know that since our launch, we’ve been able to serve: 1151 members (Slicers), 345,000 page views, 4,659 images, videos and songs, over 525 events and 218 blog posts.
In celebration of our first anniversary, we will randomly choose one name from anyone that posts a comment on this blog. The winner will receive a pair of opening night tickets to see XANADU on Sunday, April 27 at the Carr Performing Arts Centre including a pair of VIP passes to the cast party at SIP as well as a pair of dining certificates to Graffiti Junction! How’s that for a night on the town? All you have to do is comment . . . it’s that simple. Posting of comments to this blog ends, April 2, 2010 at 7:00PM EST -- we’ll announce the winner next week.

i actually thought banana slice was kind of cool ~ it is the super fruit (to me anyways) :-)
