I live in a role of housewives where other “career” women treat us like losers. Never mind the fact that it took a female aka a mother to give up their body to get them there. Homemakers are treated as a “LOSER” class to do so. I just experienced this with my 18 yr old daughter who just graduated high school. I finally confronted the ex-mother-in-law who abused me for nearly ten years. Instead of celebrating that my daughter graduated Magna C** Laude, whom I homeschooled for five years, she…

By, Sandra Monday
At 16 with child
By my father, David just back
From Vietnam only 22 himself
In 1970’s I remember singing We are the Champions
To the radio in the car
Her dulcet voice as she tucked
Me into my crib
Her blonde hair luminescent one eye blue
One eye green winking mischievously
And her beef stroganoff with too much sourcream
As a child I hated it
But now I love it using the same…

As you may have noticed, I have begun a new series of paintings dedicated to divine pairs of male and female dancers. The reasoning for this, I found that through love all things are possible, and to me since God is Love, I believe His love brought all being into existence, that life itself is a romantic divine dance. The reason for the pas de deux? Well for me the male female counterparts represent procreation bringing life into being. It is based on my own personal experience of…

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Great to meet you Sandra! yeah, I chose not to have kids and I'm fine with it, but I think if kids turn out okay is when they get older and can help you too.
I drew the picture 1 month and a week before my mother had trouble walking. Within a few months it was cancer. She died in May 1997, my best friend killed himself in November, and then my father died 3 weeks later. My next door neighbor died 2 months after that. Everyone in all those houses were dead in 8 months but me (the rowhouse in the center. on the left is my parents' house). but me. I had no idea when I did the picture why I chose those houses. My mother got cancer where the thing comes down, too. It and many weird things that have happened really just goes to show there truly is more to this life than most people can imagine. Maybe I should put this information with the painting. It's true, people can believe it or whatever. You probably understand being spiritual.
Sandra, thanks for your kind words... I totally relate to what you wrote about NIN, it has influenced me a lot, thanks again!
The truth is that I have changed a lot and in some ways I am not all that different..
I joined this site in an effort to get in touch with you..
Thanks Sandra. I've had a blast making these shorts. 2012 very good year. Hope you're fine.
God delivered me from the hands of my enemies to the arms of an angel, just as I always trusted him to do.
you are the most beautiful woman in the entire world to me, I don't know why I waited 18 years to tell you. There was never anyone who compared to you.
