What juicy tidbit can you share about your favorite downtown memory?
Just being a kid ... it was fun.
What brings you to THE SLICE?
I love photography and sculpture. I've done sculpture off and on throughout my life but, I didn't realize that I was interested in photography until my Dad got me a camera for High School graduation. A few years later I went to Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta during a vacation and took a few pictures and I've been in love ever since. Now all of my vacations include trips to cemeteries - as many as possible. Some people think it's a little strange but I've taken a lot of beautiful photos in cemeteries.
The paper bead jewelry just happened. I started making paper beads to keep my hands busy and before I knew it I had a pile of beads so, I got a little jewelry starter kit on sale and I made a necklace for my friend. After that I just started making different things for family and friends and before I knew it Heather Nield and I decided to start Redman & Nield and sell jewelry. You never know where life will take you, just hang on a go with it.
