Thank you for choosing to support The Downtown Arts District.

The Downtown Arts District is a dedicated nonprofit organization for advancing arts and economic development in the City of Orlando. Established in 2000, the Arts District represents and serves the arts community by providing promotional assistance to art and cultural venues, public art projects, and signature events.

Comprised of a series of cultural communities, the Arts District encompasses the visual arts, literature, the performing arts including music, drama, film, dance, and arts and culture-related retail businesses. Additional information is available by contacting our Public Relations department at (407) 648-7060 during regular business hours, or via email barbara@dadorlando.com.

We are proud to be recognized by Central Florida Foundation as a transparent organization in the region.  We have received Reviewed Status in the Foundation’s Nonprofit Search.  Send this link, http://cffound.guidestar.org/nonprofit.aspx?orgId=40965, to your friends to introduce them to the work we’re doing and create an opportunity for them to make gifts.  To search Nonprofit Search or share it with others, visit www.cffound.org.

Why Support The Downtown Arts District?

Supporting public art and a vibrant cultural community beautifies and animates cities, provides employment, attracts residents and tourists, complements adjacent businesses, enhances property values and contributes to a culturally diverse, creative and innovative environment.

Community support through private contributions allow the Downtown Arts District to provide promotional assistance to art and cultural venues and events enhancing Downtown’s uniqueness as a destination for local residents and cultural tourism. The arts and cultural communities that encompass the Downtown Arts District enrich our community in many ways—by greatly improving the quality of life, strongly impacting economic development, deepening our understanding of cultural diversity, and providing healing in times of great stress and hardship.
