The dramatic fragmentation of traditional media, the shift from a
push to a pull economy and the increasing adoption of ad-skipping
devices are making the effective use of relevant and powerful
partnerships a key opportunity to pull ahead.
The Downtown Arts District’s partnership opportunities are designed
to transform sponsorship from an unmeasured expense to a measurable
investment that delivers a distinctive, sustainable and substantial
competitive advantage.
That transformation takes know-how, planning and intelligence, as
well as the proper support, resources and partnerships. The Arts
District currently works with individuals, sponsors, foundations,
properties and agencies of every category, type and size, giving us
an incredibly broad knowledge and experience base to draw upon.
Each sponsorship alliance includes the following
components:
1.
Operational funds: Working capital dollars that can be
channeled by the Arts District to arts and cultural organizations
to provide promotional and financial assistance to art and cultural
venues, public art projects, and signature events.
2.
In-kind resources: Budget-relieving products and services
needed for signature events and/or operations.
3.
Marketing & advertising support: Advertising
opportunities for the Arts District to share its mission, programs
and philosophy, thereby enabling arts and cultural organizations to
increase donations and volunteers, ensuring the viability of arts
in the downtown community.
4.
Employee activation: A corporation's commitment to
educating their workforce about the mission of the Arts District
and to encourage their active involvement, volunteerism, referrals
and donations.
5.
Liaisons: A company’s commitment to provide introductions
to corporate partners, vendors, manufacturers or business
colleagues who may be able to become additional sponsors and/or
supporters of the Arts District.
Sponsorship Levels
The Downtown Arts District offers a multi-tiered approach to
sponsorship, offering several levels at which companies can support

have been designed to give you an overview of offerings. Once you
have identified an area of interest, a custom package will be
designed to fit your company’s needs.
VISIONARY: $1 million minimum guaranteed cash commitment. A
sponsor wanting to assist in serving the arts community by
providing promotional and financial assistance to art and cultural

and receive maximum recognition rights and benefits. Three-year
commitment is required.*
BENEFACTOR: $500,000 minimum guaranteed annual cash and/or
in-kind commitment. A sponsor wanting to assist in serving the arts
community by providing promotional and financial assistance to art
and cultural venues, public art projects, and signature events,

substantial recognition rights and benefits. Three-year commitment
is required.*

in-kind commitment. A sponsor wanting to adopt a co-sponsorship of
a signature series, and receive numerous recognition rights and

FUNDRAISING ADVOCATE: $5,000 minimum guaranteed annual cash
and/or in-kind commitment. A company wanting to name the Arts
District its “charity of choice” and conduct its own fundraising
through internal and external channels to benefit the organization.
The Downtown Arts District’s Making Change, Dollar Campaign, and
Matching Grant Program are just some simple ways you can
participate, or a custom proposal can be prepared to fit you goals
and objectives. One year or short-term commitments are
permitted.
CHARITY OF CHOICE
Do you have an upcoming event and want to contribute a portion of
your proceeds or ticket sales to support the arts in Downtown
Orlando? If so, consider making the Downtown Arts District your
charity of choice. From ticket proceeds and onsite donations, to
silent auctions . . . it’s simple, and rewarding for your company
and the donor.
MAKING CHANGE
Do you want to make change in the downtown arts scene? You can do
it by donating your leftover change to support the Downtown Arts
District. Contributions support the arts community by providing
promotional and financial assistance to art and cultural venues,
public art projects, and signature events.
DOLLAR CAMPAIGN
Are you a downtown retailer that would like to support the Downtown
Arts District? You can contribute by participating in our dollar
campaign. As a participant, you’re company would invite customers
at checkout to donate a dollar to support the arts and cultural
community of Downtown Orlando. If they donate just $1, we’ll give
them an arts and culture card that earns them savings at local
restaurants and stores, PLUS special discounts to select arts and
cultural venues – our way of saying thanks!
MATCHING GRANTS
Does your company have a matching grants program? If so, we’d like
to participate. You choose the fundraising project you’d like to
support that the Arts District is currently working on and you
choose the level of support. Anything goes, from a 1-1 match, a 2-1
match, or more, this program is designed to fit your needs and
support the arts. Minimum match requirements are $5,000 and can be
capped or . . . the sky is the limit. 100% of your contributions
are tax-deductible, and will support the fundraising project of
your choice, or the general fund, should you elect to
participate.
ADDED-VALUE EXPERIENCES
Each time a customer signs up for a credit card, opens a new
account, or opts-in to a program or service, the participating
sponsor will offer a co-branded premium item. Additionally,
customers will automatically be entered-to-win an exclusive offer
tied to the arts (arts weekend getaway). The participating sponsor
can also have an on-site presence at select events, staffed by a
company representative, to educate audiences about its
products/services and conduct themed promotions.
CAUSE MARKETING PROMOTIONS FOR BANKS and FINANCIAL
INSTITUTIONS
Link new accounts or loans to a PARTNERSHIP with the Downtown Arts
District. Each time a customer opens a qualifying account, is
approved for a loan or applies for a bank credit card, the
participating Sponsor will make a $10 donation in the customer’s
name to the Downtown Arts District. This promotion would be
promoted at area branch locations, on the Sponsor’s website, and by
inserting a themed promotional piece in monthly statements and
information packets.
