It’s easy to get involved and help the arts and cultural
community continue to thrive in Orlando. Below are some ideas on
how you can contribute that take a little effort and make a big
impact!
Can’t contribute financially? That’s ok, because you
can still help by donating goods and services to the Arts District,
which can help us save and earn you a 100% tax deduction.
Do you need a gift for a friend or family member?
Something for a birthday, anniversary, or special holiday? Looking
for something to give that has personality and meaning? Support the
Downtown Arts District by making an in-kind donation in someone’s
name. We’ll send a card to them from us on your behalf
acknowledging your donation in their name, and we’ll personalize it
to your liking.
Are you a small business owner or know someone who
is? Give local artists a place to show off their talents by
offering to exhibit their artwork around your shop. Rotate it
monthly for a fresh look and host artist meet-and-greet
opportunities to build your business and share the love of art.

Support students and schools in downtown Orlando. The
next time the local school newsletter comes in the mail, check out
the calendar of events. Then, make plans with friends and family to
go to a play, attend an art show, or see the band perform. Art
comes in many forms, shapes and sizes!
Redecorating your child’s room? Consider having local
artists paint a mural on one of the walls, create a mobile for your
newborn, or hang some inspirational pieces of art. It will expose
your child to a whole new world, and will be an inspiring addition
to your home.
What’s your favorite hobby? Is it painting? Restoring old
photographs? Sculpting? Playing the piano? Independent
Film? Once a month, make it a point to connect to the arts
community through your hobby. Whether it’s flipping through some
archival photographs at the History Center, watching a new
independent film, or taking a glass blowing class at the CityArts
Factory, connect to others through something you love.
