Do Not Regret

Do not regret the eyes that pass
A glance that quickly says goodbye
For in this one chance
Is a soft settle dance
With a song for the rest of your life

Do not regret the haunting face
Of a love that could've been
For when a flesh feels so much
Of this eternal touch
It finds in night its secret sin

Do not regret times you've given
For it is all of who you are
And you cannot change
The depths of your pains
It is the world within your heart

Do not regret anything about you
For the history is your own story
And though it may seem
Many have stolen your dreams
They have not taken away your glory

Do not regret what you have not done
In time you will find your way
If it was not for my hurt
I would have not found words
To put together what you have read today

I have self-published my book, Lost Soul Found, which is now available at createspace.com/3566079. I am looking for other authors in the area that are willing to take a look at it and write a review. If interested please let me know. Thank You

You all are too kind and I'm enjoying the exchange here -- keep it going and spread the word.  I think this Group has legs.

The Muze and the Writer
Stephen M. Clark

Ladies that linger
on pages in air.
Digital prescriptions
for literary heirs.
Take instead the chance,
to reply and enjoin the dance.
You might find your words
are stronger than you know.
While rejoicing for your approval I am.
a muze becomes a man.
But also a writer can be she,
who turns the muze into me.

Progesterone and Poker

Dicey calls - big players - they fell one by one
Before they saw it coming she was all done
Full house - small straight - the cards flew so fast
Knocked arrogant players right off their ass
Progesterone and Poker - the mix to blame
She played many hands - won all the games
With hormone levels shooting strong as an ox
She had no mercy and was sly like a fox
Bluffing - swearing - full of estrogen
As most hands folded she called "All In"
I sat back and watched this strategy
She took a deep breath then counted to three
Poked her ass straight full of progesterone
Then exhaled in relief with a little moan
I saw what she did - knew her secrets
She almost Op'ed during one of the bets
Panting - foaming - bouncing off walls
She had most poker players by the balls
And I stayed and laughed at all those suckers
They all beat me anyway - damn mother %*#%@^

**I hope I don't offend anyone.  It is not my intent.  I write quirky, funny, and sometimes off-the-wall poetry

Thanks!
