I think artist. I could say that all photography is art but there is a clear difference between a photographer who is an artist and one who is not.
What would be better to be known as a PHOTOGRAPHER or as an ARTIST?
Tonite I stumbled upon on near paradise but I went looking for Parker Sketch's cartoons. I had been invited by Parker on facebook. You know how that can be but since I have been making my rounds getting to know every artist I admire, I figured Parker would have known of me and invited me personally. Fat chance, it took awhile to find hima nd when I did, he promply excused himself away from me...it was ok because the paradise I was in was alslo THE FIRST THURSDAY NIGHT ART WALK OR SOMETHING...IS THIS THE FIRST THURSDAY...HUMMMM ANYWAY CITY ARTS FACOTORY WAS HOSTING A COLLECTIVE OF ARTIST KNOWN AS "BAD GIRLS DOING GOOD"
THE TURN OUT WAS NICE BUT ON THE WALLS WAS WORK FROM ANGEL "EGLE" WIEREGA, kRISTAL SERRANO. THATS NOT ALL. ANOTHER ARTIST WAS EXHIBITING FOR THE FIRST TIME. HIS NAME WAS SKIP...WHO THE HECK IS THIS GUY IN THE MANNER OF BLEK THA RAT AND SHEPARD FAIREY? THIS GUY PROMISING. FNALLY I GOT TO MEET DONNA....THE NIGHT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PRODUCTIVE..JUST WHEN I HAD HAD ENOUGH...IN WALKED CAKE.
iI SHOT PICTURES I DONT CARE IF NO BODY LOVES..I LOVED THE NIGHT.
