GREEN
As we near EARTH DAY, I thought it would be interesting to tackle something so simple yet so complex…The Phenomena that is GREEN.
What is GREEN? First and foremost, Green is a color, from an artistic standpoint green is not a primary color but is created by the mixture of yellow and blue. The word green has origins in the Old English text and literally means “to grow”. Worldwide the definition of Green can broad and contradictory at times. Culturally, Green can symbolize hope, growth, nature and life as a symbol of fertility and rebirth. However when placed in a different context can mean sickness, envy and even death. Recently Green has become the political symbol of environmental protection, awareness, reusable responsibility and social justice.
As you can see, GREEN is more than just a color. With this we invite you to come experience GREEN.
