The Baldwin Park Merchants Association will host its next First Friday Charity Festival & Art Stroll on August 3, 2012, along New Broad Street in Baldwin Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Over 40 local artists of all genres will display their works of art while guests shop, stroll and sip through the heart of downtown Baldwin Park.

The Arts Hub Florida and Baldwin Park merchants are sponsors of the First Friday series that offers live music, drink specials, free samples, interactive activities and much more. This monthly event is free to
public and is both family and pet friendly.

The August Art Stroll will showcase Rudy Drapiza, an artist since the age of five whose fluid, sweeping and somewhat whimsical style creates a feeling of sensory immersion in his murals sold to private and commercial clients. The stroll will also feature Allie King, the August winner of the Austin Arts Hub Scholarship that is awarded monthly by visual artist Ken Austin and the Arts Hub.

The August First Friday event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an organization that is fighting to cure and control cystic fibrosis, as well as improve the quality of life of those with the disease. The foundation also stimulates the development of new therapies that have a profound impact on thousands of young lives. For more information, visit: www.cff.org.
